 Meet Pastor George King - Interim Senior Pastor
George King was born in Parham, Antigua. He is the seventh child of Roland and Albertha King. Attending Caribbean Union College, he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Theology in 1972. He graduated from Andrews University in 1980, with a Masters in Divinity, and in 1981 with a Doctorate in Minstry..
He has worked with K. S. Wiggins in a crusade in Portsmouth, Dominica. He did his internship in the St. Marteen/St. Eustatus district under the leadership of Elder Berkek. After his internship, he became pastor of four churches in Anguilla. He was ordained in August 1975 at the Shiloh SDA Church in St. Thomas. Later in 1975, he was asked to be the pastor of Rouseau, Dominica District, until August 1977. In 1981 he became pastor of the King Street, Advent Avenue, and Grazettes churches in Bridgetown, Barbados. In 1983, he was Assistant Professor of Theology at Caribbean Union College, while being the associate pastor of the College Church.
In 1987 he left Trinidad for Riverside, California. He has pastored the New Hope SDA Church in San Diego, the Perris Fifth Street SDA Church in Perris, and the Valley Fellowship SDA Church in Rialto. Presently he is the Vice President for Black Ministries and the Director of Community Services.
It has been 36 years of marriage to the elegant and beautiful, Germyn Ramsey, and the enjoyment continues. He loves the work of the ministry, and Dr King continues to keep his hand in the will of God. Kansas Avenue is thankful to have you on board.

 Meet Pastor Wade Forde - Youth Pastor
Wade Forde was born in Loma Linda, California, and attended Loma Linda Academy, where he early developed tools necessary to choose a path of spiritual maturity.
While studying Business Management at Oakwood College, Wade accepted the Holy Spirit’s calling to Pastoral Ministry. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Ministerial Theology, and in 2007, He received his Master Of Divinity from Andrews University.
Wade began his professional ministry at 16th St. SDA Church in San Bernadino, CA.
He has also ministered at Abundant Life Church in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Cross Walk Church in Redlands, California, and is currently Youth Pastor at Kansas Avenue SDA Church. Wade’s ministerial approach and relational focus has been shaped by his passion for people and God.
In 2005, Pastor Forde married the long time love of his life, Stacey L. Jackson. Two years later, on November 14, 2007, Stacey and God gave Wade the most beautiful blessings ever…Wade II & Olivia Monale’.
Due to Wade’s ministerial & life experiences, his focus is on connecting youth to Christ, challenging them to follow God, and empowering them to do God’s work in their own unique and creative way.
