MEN'S (MOKA)

This is no ordinary Men’s Ministry; this is something different, this is something exciting, this is something life-changing.

Since 2001, when Men of Kansas Avenue (MOKA) was launched, the Inland Empire has not been the same. We have fed the hungry, clothed the needy, ministered to the bereaved, visited the sick, honored the elderly, nurtured husband & wife relationships, mowed lawns, painted fences, moved furniture, encouraged young men and a host of other things, but that doesn’t even begin to tell the story.

Our goals are lofty ones, our mission seems almost impossible and our numbers are relatively small. This is what makes our journey so remarkable, because we know that anything and everything that we achieve is only by the grace and the will of God. Each week, since the beginning, we seek the Lord in prayer for guidance & direction. We ask Him for special things and we thank Him for answered prayers and countless blessings. He has NEVER failed us!

OUR GOALS

1. Achieve greater INTIMACY with God
2. Achieve greater INTIMACY with our families
3. Achieve greater INTIMACY with other brothers in our communities

OUR METHODS

1. Serving members within our Church community
2. Serving individuals outside of our Church community
3. Spiritual enrichment: Bible study, Prayer & Praise
4. Social activities, Fun, Recreation

Over the years we have grown from a handful of dedicated men (5) to a consistent group of over 25 committed brothers in Christ.

Come join us on Thursday nights from 7pm – 8:30pm and get a taste of how good God has been to the Men of Kansas Avenue. You won’t be disappointed.
